A living History Encampment of the Fur Trade Era of the American West, spanning the time period of the French and Indian War (1700) to 1840. 4. The 2nd Annual Antlers & Hot Rods Run to Fawnskin

Learn how to canoe on a leisurely 2-hour guided tour of beautiful Big Bear Lake. After a quick paddling lesson, you will cruise along the shore looking for beaver, great blue herons, and ducklings. Big Bear United Methodist Church will hold a terrific Rummage Sale on Friday and Saturday, September 4 and 5. Hours open are 8 am to 3 pm. There will be a many items for sale, including furniture, linens, electronics, books, toys, CD’s, DVD’s, household small appliances, clothing and much more. Great bargains! Be sure to stop in to browse and buy. Our famous “Holy Hot Dogs” will be available for a nominal fee, if you wish to have a delicious quick lunch while you are buying! If you have items in good condition that you would like to donate to our sale, please drop them off at the church after August 26. If you have larger items that need to be picked up, call the church office to arrange a time to have them picked up. Please, no mattresses.
